This is part of a double-home, combined with 302 Lansdowne Road. It is the left half of the building. Although obscured by the growing tree on its side, the old brick building has beautiful ornamentation and is incredible in its craftsmanship.
History
Probably built around 1900, this home was originally property of Mary Albertson. In 1904, she sold the "brick house and lot" to William L. Garland for $4,250.
1910 census: Railway supplies manager is living with his family and maid of African-American descent.

The Garlands lated move to 312 Davis Road, where they appear in the 1920 census, and later moved to 29 East Park Road for the 1930 census and beyond.
By 1913, the Alstons were living there, as it's listed in the obituary of Kathleen M. Alston, who died young of bronchopneumonia. She was originally born in London and came to the United States, marrying Oscar, who was an immigrant from Sweden.
